What Is Ozone Therapy?
Ozone (O₃) is a naturally occurring molecule made of three oxygen atoms, rather than the two found in the oxygen we breathe. In medical ozone therapy, a small, precisely measured amount of ozone is blended with pure medical-grade oxygen and delivered through a controlled route. It is never inhaled. Ozone therapy is an integrative wellness practice and is not a cure for any condition.
How It Works
When the oxygen/ozone mixture meets your blood or skin, it is thought to create a mild, short-lived signal that prompts your body's natural antioxidant defenses to respond. Practitioners believe this may support circulation, cellular oxygen use, and your body's overall resilience. Research is ongoing, and every person's experience is different.
Ozone's Germ-Fighting Reputation
Ozone is one of the most powerful natural oxidizers known, which is why it has long been trusted to purify drinking water, sanitize surfaces, and freshen the air. In laboratory and disinfection settings, ozone is effective against a very wide range of bacteria, viruses, and fungi. That cleansing strength is a big part of why ozone therapy has drawn so much interest in the wellness world. *Ozone therapy is not a treatment for infection, and what happens in a lab is not the same as what happens in the body.

A Brief History of Ozone
- 1840: German-Swiss chemist Christian Friedrich Schönbein identifies ozone and names it after the Greek word for "to smell."
- 1857: Werner von Siemens builds one of the first ozone generators.
- Early 1900s: Ozone is adopted for water purification, and German physicians use it to cleanse wounds during World War I.
- Mid-1900s: German physician Joachim Hänsler develops medical ozone generators, laying the groundwork for modern ozone therapy. The Hänsler name continues today through Hänsler Medical.
- Today: Ozone therapy is practiced around the world, especially in Europe, as a complementary wellness therapy.
The Revive Difference
A closed, vacuum-based system. We use the OZONOSAN Vacuum Bottle with Microbubble System. Instead of the traditional method of collecting blood by gravity, a vacuum draws your blood into a sealed bottle, keeping it in a closed, sterile system from start to finish. The microbubble system blends the oxygen/ozone mixture with your blood as fine bubbles for a thorough, gentle treatment.
Sodium citrate, never heparin. We use sodium citrate as the anticoagulant instead of heparin. Because heparin is typically derived from pork, this choice means many clients with alpha-gal syndrome can still receive ozone therapy, following screening.
Specially trained and certified. Your treatments are provided by Kristin Brown, RN, trained and certified by Simply O3, leaders in ozone therapy, and by the manufacturers at Hänsler Medical in Germany.
Our Ozone Therapy Options
Major Autohemotherapy (MAH) | $225:
A small amount of your blood is gently drawn into a sterile, closed vacuum bottle, blended with a medical-grade oxygen/ozone mixture, and returned to you. Sessions typically take about 25-45 minutes.
Ear Insufflation | $20:
A soothing, non-invasive treatment in which a gentle oxygen/ozone mixture is delivered through the ear canal via a specialized headset. Sessions typically take about 5-10 minutes.
Limb Bagging | Starting at $20:
Your hand, foot, or limb rests in a soft, sealed bag filled with an oxygen/ozone mixture, a relaxing, non-invasive option that works through the skin. Pricing increases with the number of limbs treated and the length of your session, and discounts are applied. Sessions typically take about 20-30 minutes per area.
We will help you choose the option that best fits your goals and screening results.
Elevate Your MAH with a Wellness Infusion | $300
MAH works even better when it is followed by a wellness infusion. Think of it as a two-step reset: ozone helps signal your cells to work the way they are meant to, and the infusion supplies the hydration and nutrients they need to do that work. Ozone is the wake-up call, and the infusion is the nourishment that answers it.
- One IV, two treatments: You only need one IV placed for your MAH. The same IV access is used for your wellness infusion, so there is no second stick.
- Fresh, sterile supplies: When a wellness infusion is added, all new tubing is used for your infusion.
- Simple pricing: MAH plus a wellness infusion is $300.
Frequently Asked Questions
Ozone therapy blends medical-grade ozone with pure oxygen and delivers it through a controlled route, such as the blood, the ear canal, or the skin. It is offered here as part of an integrative, functional approach to wellness.
Ozone is harmful when inhaled, because the lining of our lungs does not have the protection needed to defend against it. That is why medical ozone is never inhaled. In our treatments, ozone is delivered through the blood, ear, or skin using sealed systems and precisely measured doses, after careful screening and informed consent. As with any therapy, risks exist, and we will review them with you before your first session.
